I have setup 25 users with Message Manager to check Voicemail and Faxes. When a fax of multiple pages comes in it seems to dump all the info on one page and the rest are fine.

Ex: 12 page fax comes in Pages 1-5 are clear page 6 is a mess and 7-12 are clear.

I have a fax server connected to analog port and it accepts anything and also a regular fax machine with no issues. I am thinking it has to do with Codecs, Signaling group or the G450 but I can't nail it down. Anybody have this issue or experience something similar?

Running CM5 with all patches for G450 and IA770.

Thanks

You said the magic word: G450

AVAYA has some fimrware issues with the MP20 VoIP modules, mainly, right now they don't have a firmware release that works properly on the IA770. We just had this issue with "cutoff" voice mail messages at 1 of our clients. There solution was to replace the (3) MP20 modules in each of their G450's (they have 2), with an MP80 in each one, and then they loaded a special (as of yet unreleased) firmware patch, that brought the MP80 module up to FW13

You will have to open a case with AVAYA, tell them you have a G450 and are having issues with cutoff messages on your IA770... I hope you have maintaiance for this client, but you should since we are talking about CM5, just make sure the equipment has been final registerd before you call, so they will help you.
