I've got the I386 directory copied onto my PC from my installation disks. Do I still need it if my installation is completed & all finished? I really need the space!

Thanks all

And what about the I386 under the Ie501 directory??

If anyone could give me advice on these two things it would really be a big help!!

The i386 dir is like the cabs folder on 9x. It contains all the files needed for adding new bits like printer drivers and so on.

Remove the i386 directory and insert your disk instead when adding printers or services. It takes longer but gives more disk space.

Same with the IE501 i386 directory. You will need that on disk too if you ever want to add elements of IE later.
