How do I config things so I can use the softphone remotely (via VPN)?

My IP wireless (voice) network is on Lan 2 (192.168.3.10 & DHCP) of the BCM and my data network is on Lan 1 (192.168.0.72) of the BCM.

The Published IP address (for VOIP) apparently is LAN2, so make sure your VPN clients can access that subnet via VPN. If that's possible, then config the i2050 to look for the IP of your BCM, port 7000, and you should be set.

I would check which Lan is your published Lan.The default is Lan 1.

services---Click on the word IP telephony. On the right you will see a drop down box. You can change which of the Lans are the published IP address for the system. You will need to point your IP phones to the published lan on the system.

If you VPN is on the data side you could leave the system as default and point to the IP address of Lan 1. Or change the published IP address to Lan 2.

I'll talk to IT. Should I also use the BCM Lan 1 IP as my default gateway under TCP/IP?

Thx all for your help.
