I have a BCM400 4.0. I installed 2050 softphone on my laptop and it works great over the office wireless. I have 2 way speech. When I try from home, just over the Internet, softphone features work fine. I can call my home phone and it connects fine but there is no speech path. I moved the BCM to the DMZ for testing with the same results, so I do not believe that it is a port issue. At each end are Linksys routers. I am not using VPN. From my home, Skype works fine on the same laptop. Any thoughts as to what is going on. Softphone is 2.01.0260.

I think that this is still a port issue over a Broadband link as I've tried without any success with a BCM 50 connected to my router and I was attempting to use V.O.I.P. and internet phones over it.

I was wondering if Nortel uses two speech path ports?.

All the best
