I recently purchased a Jabra 9300 USB headset and although it works very well the remote answer does not work when you push the button on the headset. I can hear it ringing in my ear but it will not answer - do you not is there is a patch to enable the remote answering.

If not, what wireless headset solution is there for the i2050 that allows remote answering?

I thought that was a Nortel 2050 limitation vs a Headset Choice limitation. I have a lovely CS50-USB wireless Headset that supports that feature, but my i2050 will not.

IP Softphone 2050v3.2 works quite nicely with my CS50-USB. I can use the answer/release/mute buttons on the headset.

I was waiting on that, I have 2.01. You have multi appearence Gwebster and not marped on the 2050?? Thanks

Multiple appearance and MARP does not matter. CS50-USB headset (and CS60-USB) and associated buttons works with either single appearance or multiple appearance. If you want to give it a try, download the v3.2 version from It will work for 30 days without the licence server.

I wouldn't thin it would, looking for a reason 2.01 doesn't fly.

Have a look at the v3.1 Product Bulletin. It is in that version that the support was added for the CS50-USB was added.
