If I implement the i2050 for a home office solution do I need the 9115 unit?

No. The 9115 is for connecting a digital set like a M2616 back to a PBX via IP. The I2050 resides on your PC and uses the VPN tunnel to your network to work.

You need to make sure though that your firewall and routing will allow the I2050 to communicate with your PBX node.

To use the I2050 you will need an ITG line card or a Signalling Server if you are on 3.0
You will also need the ISM for internet phones

See your sales rep they will be glad to sell you all you need.
