Any way to have i2007 hooked to PC so user can call someone from outlook contacts? Thought I saw this on Cisco based systems before...

So I purchased the LAN CTE keycode and now from what I can tell this doesn't work with 64 bit windows 7? We want to integrate outlook with his i2007 on a bcm system and he is running windows 7 64-bit.. any way to do this? Reason why a 5+ year standard of 64 bit is still not compatible?
