I have several users who use the the softphone and everything works fine however, they can't hear themselves speak like you would on a phone. The 2 way conversation is fine. Not sure if that's a feature, setting or issue. Using the USB headset NTEX14AC from Nortel.

It could be a USB headset issue. I use the softphone on a regular basis with a cheapie headset and feedback is just fine. Are you using the USB dongle?

The headset our users are using is the one from Nortel that comes with a box that has some of the button features on the phone. Are you saying on your headset, you can hear yourself speaking? On ours, you don't. The two conversation works fine but like a regular phone, you would hearself speak. It might be a feature thing.

Yes, I can hear myself through the headset I bought from Wal Mart. We have a USB headset from Nortel that came with a Demo BCM 50 package but I haven't used it. I'll ask my coworker that has used it if he can hear himself with it and get back to you.
