Hello all,
Thanks to all the help on this board, I was able to get my contivities up and working.

I know have a contivity 1010 at HQ as a responder, and 1050's at homes as initiators.

I was able to get them to work behind the linksys routers as well.

The only thing I see now is that the i2004 at my house reconnects every once in a while. Maybe every 8-10 hours. I'm just curious how to start trouble shooting this. Phones only down for about 10 seconds. I'm thinking maybe QOS needs to be setup. But I am not sure exactly what QOS does and if that would even fix the issue.

Any advice??

The reconnect is likely caused either by a NAPT table timeout on the Linksys router (in front of the 1050)causing the i2004 to lose connection with the BCM or a period of inactivity causing the tunnel to be dropped.

If either of these scenarios is true, the only way you can prevent them from happening is to send some traffic through the tunnel to keep the timers from expiring.

Not sure how to go about determining which is the scenario that is causing the issue. I would suggest setting a keepalive on the Contivity 1050 to ensure that the tunnel doesn't drop. As long as that keepalive is sent more often than a NAPT table timeout, it should solve the issue regardless of which scenario is actually the root cause.
