Good afternoon,

I have an old i2004 IP phone, model: NTEX00
It is locally logged to my BCM 50 Release 6.0 with no problems. I even added a 24 button CAP on it.

I have installed it in an off premise location by internet but I am getting some issues with the sound. The phone rings, the phone can place a call, it can recieve voice calls, page etc.. but have no sound and no voice. I think it is an RTP issue!
At this location I already have an i2004 ip phone installed and working great but it is a newer model. Both have the same configuration.

Does anyone have a clue?
Is this model compatible with my BCM50?

I had the same issue on a BCM 50 when they first came out in 2005. The NTEX phones came out in the BCM 1000 release 2.5 days back in 2001. That model has been MD for years.

The 2004 phase 1 or phase 2 phones will work fine, just not the phase 0/NTEX phones.
