BCM 400, trying to get i2004 sets to work off site. Being told by the distributor that the customer must have a VPN set up in order for these to work. Is this true? Also would greatly apprciate any input support sites for this application.
Thanks
Tom

are you trying to get just 1 ip2004 or several? I have hooked these up many times and yes vpn is one way.

Search the site for more info...we have had NUMEROUS debates as to the merits of VPN access versus BCM on a public IP/DMZ.

I for one won't do it without a VPN unless the customer signs an ironclad waiver that I am not responsible if they do not like the results or their BCM becomes exposed.
