Installed BCM 400 4.0 for customer. Installed Netgear FVS318V3 Firewall and have the Public IP DMZ to Lan port on BCM. Wanted this done to block pinging to BCM. Tested phones at home. Came up right away with display. However not getting any voice(Speaker or Handset) Can get into Element Manager. BCM Monitor. Can access Firewall. Can do Telnet Sessions. Have tried two different phones, different extension. Still no voice. I have tested phones before from home and have not had problems. So don't think problem with that. I would think using DMZ would eliminate any need to open ports. Any ideas. Would really like to not have BCM directly with direct public IP address.

The Firewall does have Denial Of Service prevention turned on. Would that be causing problem.

No voice = no packets.

Use a VPN and save the headaches.
