On a BCM1000 with 3.7 Software, I've found you can't adjust the ringing volume on an IP set. It works fine on all system sets, just IP can't turn up the ringing volume. Can anybody give me answer on this or is there a patch to resolve this problem? Can someone check it on another software level lower or higher to see if it's only 3.7? Thanks.

It's a known issue. There is a UTPS patch that was written to solve the issue. I don't recall the patch number, but it's included in BCM 3.7 SU3.

Is this the final patch at this point for the 3.7? Is it an all inclusive patch that can be applied to pretty much any 3.7?

Su3 for 3.7 is the final SU patch but there are core and other patches available after the SU3. Install the SU3 patch and you should be fine if this is your only issue.

Does this also resolve some issues I'm having with a Call Center Pro app? The guy claims it stops providing reporting? Also does the historical data remain on the BCM or is it pushed to the Call Center Server computer and then become purged from the BCM? I realize the SU3 is a large file, but is there somewhere/someone I could get it from? I don't have access to the KRS, etc.

Call Center info remains on the BCM, but when it reaches a certain threshold it starts to purge, oldest first. But it is a big buffer. Someone else will know exactly.

Any way I can get a link from someone to download the SU3 patch? I've asked a few associates around the Toronto area without success so far.

Let me know. Thanks.

If you have access to the patch library you can download it from Nortel otherwise you will have to get it from your vendor.

FYI I have personally witnessed someone getting a patch from somewhere other than Nortel and it was a disaster. Patch was damaged somehow. Just be careful.
