Can anyone recommend a good place to get an i2004 phone with a display problem repaired (inexpensively)?
Best guess is that the display is still good, and the phone board is definately good... but one of my techs discovered that the "ribbon" cable isn't attached all that solidly to the board
Don't know if it can be reattached or if they'll have to replace the display. All I know is that my pudgy fingers can do no more than poke at it... what ever happened to the good old days when things had connectors ;-)
I know that i2004 sets aren't that expensive to buy used, but if I can get a relatively inexpensive repair that's better than contributing to the landfill.
