i2004 phones on BCM50 6.0

Hello,

Has anyone encountered any trouble registering i2004 ip phones on a BCM50 6.0?

I'll be replacing a BCM50 3.0 with a BCM50 6.0 next week and the customer's got 8 i2004 ip sets.

I've scoured the search forum and the 6.0 device manual and haven't seen anything problematic about connecting i2004 phones to BCM50 6.0.

The new 6.0 I'll be installing has a 12 seat ip client keycode already loaded.

The customer is 300 miles away and I'm trying to gather as much information as possible before making the long drive.

Never had an issue I service hundreds of 2002's and 2004's on BCM50's and 450's.

it's all about the network and whether you're using DHCP or setting static IPs on the phone.

Never had issues. We stick with the NTDU92 units to be safe.

Have had some instances where firmware downloads automatically and other ones where a BCM 50 reboot is necessary.

I think these are NTDU92 sets. I'll keep your other suggestions in mind too.

Any IP phone that starts with NTDU is phase 2. That's what you want if using IP phones remotely.
