I2004 phones loose connection with server

I can't seem to figure out why my phones keep loosing connection to the server.

I am using the phone at my house on a cable modem with a linksys router with dhcp and firewall enabled. The phones will work fine for a while and then they will loose connection and the re-establish randomly.

I checked the lease time in the linksys and it's set for 1 day.

its the cable service. Its not as solid as a dedicated line.
