Hi Guys I have a number of i2004 phones plugged into a cisco 2960 switch but there is an issue with the power .
They just do not power up at all.
The splitter is a revision 001 , I read somewhere that rev 002 is needed , can anyone confirm this or have any advice ??
Big thanks all
Mucka

What phase i2004 set do you have? Phase 2 sets don't need a splitter as long as the switch is 802.3f (? - i forget which .X POE is covered under) compliant.

We have phase 1 phones , but i suspect that is the problem & we need phase 2 ??
Thanks in advance

Phase 1 phones require a splitter to work properly. I believe DSine manufactures these.

Also, ensure that the POE is actually enabled on the switch ports.
