I have a Nortel i2004 phone. I have never set one up before. I need some help with setup. What is required to get the phone working from the PBX side, we have a Meridian option11.
You'll need an IP enabled Succession Call Server (v3.0 or later, Signaling Server, Voice Gateway Media Cards and of course ISMs).
If you have a legacy Opt61 or Opt81 Meridian it could be costly to upgrade it. I believe Nortel is not even selling Succession 4.5 anymore so you would need to upgrade to Succession 5.0 from the software side and then all the CPU and hardware upgrades that would be necessary.
You might get a better response from the Nortel: Meridian systems group;
If you already have an IP enabled Succession Call Server you just need to build a TN as an i2004 and then configure the phone (and network switch if necessary).
