Hi,

I have 10 i2004 phase 2(NTDU92). I am swapping out the older phase 1 (NTDU82) phones and replacing them with these newer models.
There is no power over ethernet as yet so we are using the seperate power supply.
My problem is the new phones are not powering up. When I plug in the external power supply nothing happens.

We have other phase 2 phones on site that are working fine.
When I try one of the new phones with a power supply from a working phase 2 phone, it still does not power up.

So, is there a certain way of powering up these phones that has not been needed previously? Or is the whole batch faulty?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Áine

Recent production versions of Phase II phones removed the ability to use the old power supplies. You need to use the new 48v supply which is common to 200x/11xx/12xx.

Thanks a million - tried it with one of those & it worked.
Going to go & grumble about Nortel now(yet again);-)
