i2004 password reset

I recently removed a i2004 from a BCM 400 3.6. I tried to install it on a BCM 200 4.0. When I do the Screen shows up
NEW SET
Registration Password
PW:
I entered the IP terminal global password of the BCM 200 and it say wrong password. I changed the password on the system 4 times and the system still says wrong password. I believe that Nortel as a generic systam password that will let me reinstall the phone. Does anyone know what I can do to get the phone working on the BCM 200.

there is a place to set the registration password in the BCM - and is registeration allowed?

Just try numbers (numerals) for the password

Nortel is not the generic password. It is something different.
