Hello all,

Can anyone provide a comprehensive list of 12004 phones features and part numers?

For example, I have three quotes on a BCM400 with these part numbers:

ntex00ba
ntdu82
ntdu92

What I need to know are:

which ones have an integrated ethernet switch included?
which can be powered with 802.3af poe?
which require external power supply?

Are there any other part numbers that I should consider?

I need 25 POE units with the integrated switch.

Thanks,

Ray

802.3af POE is only supported on the phase 2 set (NTDU92). You can use 802.3AF on a phase 1 (NTDU82) with a splitter - the type of splitter you use will be dependent on the type of data switch you're connecting to.

Phase 2 sets have the built in switches, and I believe all the phase 1 sets do as well (or were at least built into the phones).

Avoid the phase 0 phones (NTEX00BA). Those have the "modular" three port switches that plug into the bottom of the phone. There are things that the phase 1/2 phones do that the phase 0 phones won't, especially in the Meridian/Succession world, not terribly sure about BCM.

If buying new, get the NTDU92 phones.
