I2004 Message Waiting Light

I have about 35 Nortel I2004 VoIP phones at a branch office. Some of them do not get a message waiting light indicator when they have messages. I've checked the settings on different phones and can not figure out why some get the light and some don't. Any ideas?

TWO THINGS WILL CONTROL THAT FIRST IS MWA IN THE CLS, SECOND IS THE MWI IN MAIL.

If they are programmed the same as a working phone and it has a mailbox, then you might have a firmware issue or maybe a patch, are these phones in local mode..?Try adding a MIK and a MCK key to a phone and test the light if you want.
