The other day, there was a page made to all sets on our system. Since then I can't use any of my IP phones (all i2004s on firmware 0602B65).

If I reboot the phone, then I can make outgoing calls, but as soon as I receive one incomming call, I can't use the phone any more.

When I pick up the handset or hit the spkr phone, there is no dial tone.

If I get an incomming call and answer it, I hear nothing, and so does the caller on the other side.

I have forced a firmware download on all phones, and the issue still exists.

What should my next troubleshooting step be?

Sounds like a gateway/routing issue.

Are the BCM and iphones on the same subnet?

All of the phones and the BCM are on the Same subnet.

I double checked all Speed/Duplex settings and disabled the other NIC on the BCM. Lan 2 is the only one up, and it is the one plugged into our core switch with all of the phones. So far, we are not even involving another switch, or the router.

I can ping the phones from the IP Network troubleshooting page on the BCM.

I can ping the phones from any machine on any of our subnets.

I have been told that the person on the other end of an incomming call can hear, but the person on the i2004 only hears dead air.

The one way conversation problem happened with us, and the problem was we only had half the path up.
