I try as I can to set up low level troubleshooting scenarios to help myself move forward... My most recent has me stumped and I've looked into three manual IP Phones, succession 1000 element manager and bcm 3.0and I cannot find the resolve for this issue nowwhere so next best step..." The proffesionals" I have a user who had a headset issue so i figured let me swap out her phone just too make her feel better, this of course was after buying two headsets and her still not being happy. (yeah one of those) So I grabbed another set that I knew was working and with the simple resolution of just changing the IP set address to hers.. all would be good. Not the case I changed her set ip to ".88" and reset the phone the next thing I know "Duplictae TN" I checked the MOTN (Vortual) and My SBO to make sure there wasnt a duplictae anywhere out there and there wasn't but when I put her old set back it works fine.. Cant figure out why if I use another set that had another IP and another tn assigned and I change it why doesn't it work. any help is appreciated. Oh and sorry for the small novel.

Oh! and I did change the Tn assigned to the set itself

Well, that looks a hard one!
But I would suggest you to unregister the first one before you connect the new, because of the Mac Address of the old one is still on the routing table probably .. I guess ...

When you want to use BCM/SRG as Branch Office system, you will not be able to have 2 sets with the same Main number (key 0 identical) It works a part but have conflict in SRG.
So you have to give a virtual number to the second set and give it key 1 with the number you. You can then have no conflict in SRG cause you have unique number for each phone

I had that issue before when two users had the same Dm, one would be on the phone then all of a sudden his calls were dropped..Come to find out the users shared the same BUID. Thing here is there is no other set at all out there for her. and yet duplictae TN. UGH! I just wanted to swap the phone!
