Ok, 2 things stand out to me here.

1.) You say it says "LOCAL MODE". This tells me that the system is a Branch Office Telephone that is not registered to the main for some reason. Either it was forced into this mode for testing or the BUID is not registering to the Main. Most likely it was not able to be redirected to the main due to a BUID error locally or at the main, or in the NRS programming.

2.) The invalid ID (3). Not sure when you are getting that, in normal mode, or after you try to do a VO login. If it is just sitting there, then I suspect the BUID issue above. If it is being displayed after you try to do a VO login, it means that the ID you tried to use was not a valid one. This could be because the digits you entered were unable to be resolved locally or by the NRS, or some other reason outside of your local system.

Seems you have a deeper problem here than just the Virtual Office failing, IMHO.

Hi dcross,

I think the guru is on the money. I have a site that does the same invalid id problem, even though it is registered back to the main site. It usually goes away after you go off-hook and hang up for the first time. I think it has somthing to do with the temporary registration password on the sig server "nodePwdSet". In the class maybe set "voua" on the local and main site sets and check to make sure the sig servers at both main and branch have been patched. I have found some engineers patch the PABX, but forget to patch the sig, so that may be worth checking.

Cheers

Scott
