I wish to call a sub from an add-in

I wish to call a sub from an add-in in a new worksheet,

I could simply click asign macro and type in the name and it works a treat however I wish to pass some other arguments and I want to call it from a module in the new worksheet (but with having to add in the path of the add-in - ideally I would like to put Name_of_addin.xla!SUB_TO_RUN - but this doesn't work)

Can any one help me please?
