I wish I was a plumber

My problem is I don't know how to describe what I do in terms which would be understood by potential customers.

My background is in printing but along the way I have learned to process data from a wide variety of sources into a variety of uses.

For example:
DBX to Telemagic (there's a blast from the past!)
Excel to a php database (currently processing 90,000 records via Excel,??? and TextPad)
Outlook to Pagemaker (creating delivery notes and personalised compliments slips)
Excell to Pagemaker (multiple page directories, subsequently processed to Adobe PDF)
and so on.

You will now understand why I chose "Frustrated50" as my handle when it comes to trying to describe what I do. (Wish I'd been a plumber - darn site easier to describe!).

Any help with contracts or descriptive terms would be very much appreciated, or is this type of task readily undertaken and nobody has told me what it is called!!!

Its easy for me - I call myself a programmer - but after
spending time in these forums, compared to some guys, I'd be best described as an amateur !

In fairness, job titles aren't always accurate. I am a Performance Analyst! which has nothing to do with building databases and excel applications, but that's what I do all day!
How about Data Specialist?
