I used the wizard to create a DAP. When I went to alter the code in the script editor, I expected to see vbscript, NOT javascript! How can make vbscript the default? Or is there a wizard that converts the javascript code to vbscript?
1. You are very limited on what you can do with them.
2. They only work in IE5 and above.
3. Attempting to modify the code outside of Access is very difficult being that the code is a mess.
Just a suggestion - You can create an ASP form from scratch and code it with VBScript. This of course is a lot more work but worth it in the long run, especially if you plan on modify code.
There are simple tools out there (Frontpage - eeek!) that will help you create simple ASP forms and connect them to an Access database.
