I want to copy my Win95 CD To floppy disk and be able to use them for an install on a machine with no CDRom drive. Anyone have any ideas how I may accomplish that?
Yes; give me your e-mail address & I'll send you a quick little DOS app (called split) that will do exactly what you're wanting....the best way I can think of to do this (HDD space permitting) is to use a .zip archiving prog. to archive your CD into 1 compressed file on your HDD; then use split to break that file apart into 1.4MB peices that you can use diskettes to copy onto the HDD of your target system (HDD space, again, permitting) to be reassembled & unzipped (I have a free .zip archiving prog if you need it too).
Let me know if you think this will help you.
-Robherc
robherc@netzero.net

*nix installation & program collector/reseller. Contact me if you think you've got one that I don't :)
