I want to see my Outlook Contacts and email on my laptop

I have recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook in order to Sync with my new PDA. When I travel I like to take my contact list and messages with me just in case....

Outlook express would allow me to export my address book and messages to a file so I could update my laptop, how can I best do this when using Outlook? It's export/import options don't seem to support transfer from another machine using Outlook???

Yes you can Export to a File (csv) in Outlook the same way in Outlook Express: File->Import/Export->Export to a File->Comma Separated Values (Windows), then select Folder to Export From (Contacts).

Is there no easier way to synchronize Outlook between two PC's? It seems that would be a fairly common activity....Rick
