My task is simple: I want to move to a different project :)

I have lead my current project from one year. Now I look forward for a change for something challenging. I am looking for a set of creative pointers which can substantiate my move when I sell this to my managers :) So guys start listing what ever comes to your mind out of blue!!

thx in advance :)

Continue to lead your team and take on an extra (smaller) project. Start to build a successor for your old project and then approach your management for more responsibility and/or visibility.

1. Find out the client expectations behind the new projects you're seeking in your org.
2.Prepare a list of
- what you did
- what you seek

Balance your expectations(and resume) between all of the above for a winning combination and then approach your mgmt.

Have a tentative transition plan for the current project ready (in terms of resources, your successor etc) . If you don't pay attention to this they're not going to let you leave this project.
