I want to link a master shape or a shape in Visio 2000 to an access database in the following way:
If the shape is placed on a sheet in Visio 2000, and I click on it, a box should appear
that shows me the details about it I've saved in an Access database.

But this should not only work for the selected shape in this sheet, it should also work if I
select a new master shape from the stencil and place it as a new shape on my sheet in
Visio 2000. That means: Everytime I place this master shape as a new shape in my sheet
in Visio 2000, the link to the details from my Access database should work without
define this link each time again.

a simple example:

I have a shape that shows a car.
If I click on this car, a box should appear that shows
me the technical details of this car, like lenght, height,...
that I've defined in my Access database before.

I've test this with the Database wizard, but it doesn't really work.
I am not experienced with visio.
Could someone show me, how I can do this?

Thanks

Oliver
