Hi.I'm a learning C# and I want to start creating web appllications, but where do I begin?Should I first learn something about .net framework(like Jeffrey Richter's book-Applied net.framework programming)or should I start with learning web forms?
And here is my second question:I've been told not to learn ASP.NET cos It's days are almost over and should instead learn WEB-FORMS themself. Is that the best option and if so do you know any book that will learn you that, cos on amazon there is no title with words 'web forms' in it?
Is the path I chose a correct one?

I hope I didn't gave you too many questions and hopefully some of you will find the time to answer them becouse there are just too many things for me to be able to decide .Thank you

i would suggest that you learn two things. first learn the c# language. depending on what other programming languanges you already know, C# essentials is a good into to the language if you already know another language.

if you want to write web apps, then asp.net is your answer. your comment about not learning asp.net and learning web forms is not true. web forms is the server side forms model for asp.net. they go hand in hand. for this area, there are a number of asp.net books out there that can help you. might be helpful.
