i want to change adminstrator user name 1

hi
i want to change user name of administrator, as it is not secure to leave administrator as a user name on a domain server, i tried to rename it from active directory users and computers, but it is still must be administrator when i log in
can any body help!?

I would leave the admin account in as a decoy. I would strip it of its membership and rights. Then I would disable it and create a new administrator account with all the same rights and a different name.

the "official" recommendation is to rename the administrator account to something that would fit in with the rest of your org (you are BloggsF so you rename it to BrownC so it just looks like any other) and then duplicate Guest and name it Administrator and fit some auditing to it.
