In this price range there are several possibilities depending on if the server is rack mounted or standalone. For example:
Compaq Proliant DL360 R01 PIII 1133-512 M1. This is a IU rack mount server. It will house 2 x Hard disk drives.
Compaq Proliant DL380 G2 R02 PIII 1133-512/133/M1. This is a 2U server. It will house 6 x Hard disk drives.
You will find that Compaq offers similar servers in a tower rather than rack format.
In addition to the servers you will need to purchase additional memory.
In terms of resilience the DL380 only comes with one power supply and will only take one PSU. The DL380 will take 2 PSU's and will therefore offer greater resillince.
To be honest, I would keep your web server seperate from your office stuff (database and file storage) because if you are unfortunate to have your web server hacked you risk your office data being corrupted or tampered with if it is on the same server.
Might be an extra couple of $$$ to spend, but it is worth it! -----------------------------------------------------
