This is version Acc 2003
Where can I do this?
I thought you used to be able to write VBA code in the Open event or Page event in older versions of Access?
I need to set things or turn them on or off.

Any help appreciated

Access 2003 is not much different than previous versions of Access regarding the report events. What problems are you having?

for example if the
Field "Office building" is Checked or True then show the "Number of Stories" Field and its number
If it's false then don't show it.

You don't need code for this. You can use a text box with a control source like:
=IIf([OfficeBuilding],"Number Of Stories: " & [NumberOfStories],Null)

Waht if I wanted the make the word "Commercial" Bold is it is choosen on a form from a Combo box. Or otherwise highlight it so it stands out.

Conditional Formating is grayed out for a Label I guess I have to change them all to text boxes and reformat them etc.
