You should have no problem using both PHP and ASP on a Linux/Apache server. Compile PHP

http://www.php.net

and Chilisoft ASP

http://www.chillisoft.com

into Apache or load them as DSOs.

Then place the following in your httpd.conf:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddHandler chiliasp .asp

After restart, Apache should parse .php files with PHP and .asp files with Chilisoft ASP. You cannot have both ASP and PHP code in the same file, but you should be able to do "Virtual" calls from PHP scripts to ASP scripts.
