I use ODBC connect MSSQL2000 Database,in impromptu the report is work well,but after published to web,I logon Impromptu Web with administrator then open the report,diplay following error infomation:

Application Error
The following error has occurred:
The report request failed.
Unable to execute report D:\cognos\turf\apps\Report2.imr. Reason: Error: 0, Generic; Process ID: 3596; Thread: 3700; Host: EWIN; Text: Logon error while connecting the database.; BackTrace Info: 1. The ODBC connection should also be available on the IWR server with the same name as it is present on your devmachine. To prevent this you might consider to switch from ODBC to native database connection.

I create an ODBC connection at IWR Server machine,but the MSSQL database is in other machine.your means is that MSSQL database must be local machine?

On the machine where IWR is installed you should create an ODBC driver with the same name and properties as you installed on the machine on which you developed your Impromptu reports. It doesn't matter that the SQL server is on another machine.

Impromptu and IWR will connect to the database but the connection strings should have the same name (if you use ODBC); otherwise IWR is not able to connect

The developed report is on the machine where IWR is installed, ODBC is on IWR machine too,only database live in other machine.
