I've tried many times to create a database using Open Office Base v2.2.0 but without much luck. I can create the database table, I can create queries and forms, but I have yet to be able to enter any data in any of the databases I've created.
I can open the table, but I can't enter anything. No error messages, but when I type nothing appears on the screen. The same for forms. I can create the form just fine, and the cursor blinks from within the fields, but when I type nothing shows up on the screen. Am I missing something really simple here??? I even created a database in Access97 and then tried to open in it Base. Same results--nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
