Hello Techs,

I think my computer is sending out emails on its own. I am receiving hundreds of mailer demons from emails I supposedly sent that could not be delivered. I fear I may have a virus. Is there anyone who can help me resolve this issue?

One thing, definately do a virus scan with Symantec. Also, run spybotSD or adaware to search for anything. Do not open those emails, delete them right away. You can get hundreds of those emails at a time just to make you think exact what you just posted. Alot of times, these are emails sent from a fake mailer daemon stating mail cannot be delivered. The whole ploy is to get you to open the email. Delete these emails. You should know the emails you sent and to who. Delete these emails and do a virus scan right away. I recommend Symantec(AKA Norton).
