How do they do that in a telnet session? That was cool.

I used to be able to do stuff like that using ASCII on my BBS, basicly the same as a telnet session but that was Awsome stuff!!! someone must have been bored :)

Technologically, that is very easy to do, I could write up an engine in about 2 hours that would accept run as a server, accept connection requests on port 23, open the socket and then read a series of text files in order to display something like that. The hard part is to actually draw each ascii screen in the animation. Someone had WAY too much spare time. I didn't even have time to watch the whole thing...

Wait, this guy wants to know what to do on the web, and you geeks send him to a star wars show?! Hello, pr0n is what he was looking for 8^)

If you set it up as a server, you are limited to what you can do with it. If you have the CDs you can run upgrade instead of install and choose the packages you want or select all of them. If you install the xwindows and gnome or kde GUIs you can run netscape. :)

Your right jaymzter:) Can you recommend any good pr0n sites to the group? Maybe one of you with a lot of free time on your hands can make a porno in a telnet session:) It would be much more interesting than Star Wars.
