This is not your typical shock, electricution zap, it almost sounds like an IRQ zap, but its not. this is while the computer is loading an app or an OS. It hasn't done this before or at least I never noticed it now.
I'm running a P4 3.0 ghz LGA 775 (530)
1 Gig ram PC3200
SATA seagate 160 gb
The hard drive is not full, and it seems that programs are running slower.
I'll notice this because I'll have a low memory program like outlook open, and i'll try and have winamp playing, and as I move my mouse it jumps and the music track skips. So i nix that, and then try loading MS word, when the application is not responding, i hear that zap for a quick moment, its literally a nano second long ( or however long a zap should be). After the zap, u almost hear the hard drive reacting, by speeding up for the time it missed (sounds like RPM's are high pitched), than that typical HD loading sound.
