I setup a link in the bottom frame

I setup a link in the bottom frame (on the index page) that should link to a page that has a center and a left frame.

When I follow the link from the bottom frame (by itself) it shows the entire page no problem.

When I bring up the entire index page and follow the link it blanks out the left frame of the index page witha "View Frame Page" button showing. When I click on this button I get the desired page.

What am I missing (other than common sense)? How can I get the link the display the page normally?

Just an additonal note:
I have found that if I right click the connection and select Open in a new Window it works fine. If I left click on it I get a 404 not found condition.

I hope that rings a bell with someone.
