I try to send an email with an attachment. It seems to go through. the recepient gets the email without the attachment. Any ideas. Thanks.

The Recipient could have a policy in their company that dis-allows attachments in emails....this is most likely in Exchange....is the Recipient a work/company email address..?? Jay~

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!

KeyTech's right - the recipient's firm could have filters set up which catch certain types of file and forward the e-mail without it.

Does the recipient get a text 'attachment' from the mail server telling them an unauthorised file has been deleted or quarantined?

Have you tried zipping the attachment and trying to send it again? This would be my first course of action.

Let us know how you get on.

jacuflea,

Another reasons is that you mail may have bigger size. Some mail server do not allow big size mails. Attachements of 1 MB is acceptable by any mail service provider. Pl .check with the mail service you use.

All the best
