i require streaming flash videos help

Ive been collecting many .flv files of various sorts, and now id like to create a website hosting these files and displaying them to the public. i need a flash player to stream these videos, and honestly i have no idea how to do that. i was wondering:

1. what type of player is recommended for streaming .flv files?
2. how do i upload the player itself? would it be the same as just uploading the .flv files?
3. would i be able to augment the interface of the player? if so, how?

yeah.. lots of questions from a total newb, haha!

The easiest (if you want a more custom designed player...) would be to follow the Video Basics (8 parts) on
