I uninstalled my firewall and then reinstalled it. I can't use the switch user option.... I have the only option to log off. How do I fix this?

Sounds more of a Windows XP question rather than a NetWare 4.x question. If it is related to XP, please post your question in the Windows XP forum which is forum779

Either way, like Marv said, more information is required.

Bit of a shot in the dark, but if you are using the Novell client it disables fast user switching in XP.

The MS Client will allow you to keep fast user switching, but IMHOP it is basically a bad idea to have an inactive user sitting there tying up resources and possibly keeping files open.

If you are not using the Novell client, then in control panel/user accounts click on "Change the way users log on or off" and enable fast user switching.

Another thing which disables fast user switching is offline files. If that is active then when you click XP will offer to let you change that.

If that isn't what you are referring to, pls provide more info.
