Im really new to this and I need help. Im building a database for school about an hotel. I made 2 tabels: clients and reservations. Some of the clients come back a couple of times... Now I need a querie wich show me how many times a client visited the hotel (in total). Do I need expressions for it? Please help me. Ive got office 2000.

Thanx

Open up a new query and add your two tables to it. Join the two tables on a field that relates to both (i.e. a Client #.) In the query grid, add the client name from your Clients table and the Client # from your reservations table. Click on the Sigma button or View-Totals from the menu bar. In the Total row in your query grid, set Client Name to Group by and Client # to count. Run the query.

Thanks a lot man. Im gonna get an A+!!!!!
