I/O server and logical partitions

Hi,

I have an IBM eServer 9111-520 p5 server where I have defined a I/O server and 2 logical partitions.
How can I swich online the tape controller between these logical partitions so I can save data from them ?
Right now I can save only data from I/O server.

Any suggestion will be highly apreciated.

Hi

Tapesharing is not supported as vio-device.
You need to attach your tape drive directly to the LPAR.
Or you save your data over nfs on the vio-server

Maybe you can write over the virtual LAN to a remote Socket on the vio-Server.
