I/O read/write stats

I am trying to get statistics on the reads and writes to certain drives I have. Unable to find a command that will seperate the two..... I use iostat -d on my AIX servers....

Any suggestions....

you can use iostat in HP-UX, in addition you can use "sar". excample:

sar -d 1 10 (each 1 second, 10 times, as iostat does).
