An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably...".
This occured when logging in as Administrator and a temporary profile has been created. I am not unduely concerned about data loss since I can still access the files within \Documents and settings\Administrator but I am unsure as to the best way to make sure that the Administrator account is re-established correctly.
Also, is it worth looking at any registry repair tools and if so, any recommendations?
